Page Not Found
«
on:
May 19, 2011, 16:43:02 »
Hello,
I just installed Elxis locally, when I add a link to a component, I receive an error message telling me "page not found ".
I think that the problem came from the SEO.
I have disable, no change, I suddenly reactivate and rename the htaccess.txt to. htaccess.
I have only seen home page.
If someone with an idea.
Thank you

Already tested, but thank you anyway.
Apache url rewriting module is enabled but the url appear in this form: "/ news / & Itemid = 52" is missing the component name is or something like that.

Maybe you haven't enabled mod_rewrite in your apache.
I don't know where to enable it on windows, but on linux command would be something like a2enmod rewrite.

Problem solved (at least for now).
I removed the url rewrinting, and in my database I have rewritten the links to the component (index.php? option = com_login) such as most struts NULL

Exactly the same problem, I've detailed in a new thread. Can you explain how you fixed it in very simple terms? Thank you.

hello,
First, I disable the url rewriting.
Then in the database I manually change the link to the installed components for that in the table 'elx_menu' when in the fields'link' was '
NULL
', I've amended
index.php ?option=com_reservations'
if the component was used ios reservation example.
