IOS Clean question

I realized that, when you set IOS Clean as default template, after change to another default template & again return to IOS Clean....

All the Parameters (edited before) are lost and should be set again

Why does this happen?

This happens for any functional template ( IOS Clean , IOS Philoxenia , Imagination WebGift).
Changes stored only in case that each of them are set as default template.

Elxis stores information (parameters, etc) only for 1 template for each client area (front-end, back-end, login), the default one.
