If anyone wishes he/she can try to fix the specific problem of tinymce with IE7/8 and send back to me his changes in order to add them in Elxis 2009.3.

I will have it in my mind to do, BUT their is no Path it is fixed in the new version.
Also I will have in my mind to try to adapt a new editor.
@Datahell we will talk for any guidelines regarding this.

This might be another alternative. It provides similar functions to that of TinyMCE but also includes a file manager that can be set to allow for any files, and it uses jquery and is in google code.

The most important thing on the Editors is the support.
Is one complete & autonomous, none of us have the time to support a 3rd party abandoned code.
So if we will add a 3rd party editor will be one of the most popular, secure & WITH UPDATES & SUPPORT.
But thanks for the suggestions.
