Parameters Problem

HI I have noticed that even if the parameters for page title, author names, created date and time are marked as hide, still in full view they display on content. Looks like the parameters are not functioning properly.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!

set them as hide
or
in global config
or
in content's item edit page
or
in menu link config page
one of this 3 cases will set what you want...(you haven't said where you set this parameters, so try them all)
empty trash and check again
