Number of items on FrontPage...

Hi all,
in my template's index.php I have:  <?php mosMainBody(); ?>

I don't have the mod_frontpage as a "loadmodule", but it works. It displays the items I have listed for the frontpage.
the Elxis book has the mainBody and the Frontpage as two separate modules.

Anyway I don't know is I'm supposed to be loading both modules separately in my code, but what I want to do is to be able to list more than just 5 items on the fronpage before they start appearing on readmore and second page.

In the frontpage module settings, even though I change the amount of items to be displayed to 8 or 10 (max), it only displays 5.

Am I doing something wrong?

How can I achieve this? I want 8 or 10 items on the front page listed, before it hits readmore and next page.

edit: Sorry, I should mention that I'm displaying items in BLOG view.

set=>  intro, leading,columns ....  etc   in the link that points to your home-page...

if multiple links in various menus then config all links one-by-one

What do you mean by set=> ?

Set the id's of the items in the frontpage module?


How do I find these links and edit them?

Sorry I'm lost. I feel stupid. Where do I edit these links?
I mean the site just opens up. The starting page, the home page.
Where do I find the link to edit it? In the Administrator pages?
