Hello i am new with Elxis and i would like your help. I have change template (using a joomla template) but i cannot find how to change the main image. In the menu media manager i cannot find the main image of the template in order to replace it. Also when i look in the html code of the teplate i see some images in folder called .../images/*.jpg but this folder is not displayed in the MEDIA MANAGER section.
Any idea?

Just use FTP to change template images (/templates/YourTemplate/images).
EDIT: avoid using Joomla templates, because they can cause severe security risk.

Welcome. I'm a newbie here too (you can tell from all the messages I post here). Give it a go. You'll love it once you start getting used to it.
Good Luck!

As a member here about 2 years now, I would suggest you
NOT
to use Joomla Templates on Elxis Platform.
You can see , choose and download a template you like from ...
http://www.elxis-downloads.com/com_downloads/front-end-templates/
And there is a lot of manuals in english that you can see and change the image of your site as you like ... and you love ... [όπως γουστάρεις και αγαπάς.

Finally , you can see the
Elxis Wiki Area

Hi, panosku78!
Welcome to neighborhood. I would suggest you to start on an elxis basis template. I'm also sure, anyone here will be able to help you then. Keep in mind that it cetrainly is unsafe to use jommla templates on elxis.

It's nice to experiment and try creating a template yourself. (if you know some html and css)
I also bought the two Elxis Books and found them really useful.
