«

Hi all !
i am using elxis 2009. I want to display a constant title to all pages plus the title of an article
e.g. At the home page: "My Newspaper"
to all other pages: "My Newspaper - Article 1"
"My Newspaper - Article 2"
How can I do that ?
Thank you in advance

You can add "My Newspaper" beside all of your titles

Elxis does this already and automatically. You don't have to modify Elxis for this. "My Newspaper" is your web site name as you have set it on Elxis global configuration.
But Elxis places first the article title and then the site title (I think it is much better than your way).
Example:
Front page -> Page title = Site name
Inner pages -> Page title = Page title - Site name
But this may vary depending on the component. Some components work differently.

Why don't you re-write the content items titles then?

I don't re-write them because I want only the constant title "My Newspaper" to be written on Mozilla's or IE title, plus each article's title. Otherwise both of them will be shown up on "contentheading" class.
Thank you anyways !
