Content item on right column

I want to publish a content item on the right column. I'm using a modification of okto template. How can i do it?

mod_newsflashes , mod udc....  configured with the right options and other  modules for i.e mod_frontpage can be used either

mod_newflashes and mod_udc work only with categories, not a single item...

...but mod_frontpage ?!?! I'll check this out ...

Follow my signature link (LawyersVoice.gr).

There is a module displaying the last articles of the category Euro-elections 2009! I want to replace this module with one displaying an article with the results (namely the last article of this category), but I don't want to create a new category containing only that article, as it will not be shown when the whole category is displayed...

give the content-item id 
set number of items to display to 1.....

if i was you i would work like this:

create a new cat ... election-results(only election results cat)...
copy the item "euro-elections-2009-results" from "Ευρωεκλογές 2009"  to the new cat
setup mod_udc too display the last item of the new  election results category

so in every election i would copy the item to that cat with election results(only election results cat) and then mod_udc will automatically display the results in the right column
this will give you in one cat the results of all years ...and also the last results in the right column...  more flexible i think

going farther ... i would edit the copied item in that new cat(with all results) and add a link to "Ευρωεκλογές 2009" so the item will link to the cat with all other items relative to  "Ευρωεκλογές 2009"...
same at next election and so on.

so last election results in right col and a cat with all results of all elections that every item will link back to it's relative articles
