Mysql is version 5

Using /* ...*/ between lines 122 to 125 does not solve the problem.

Can you solve this problem because your cms seem interesting to use and promoted.

Can you give me the URL to your Elxis installation?
If yes, send it with a P.M. to me to check what causes the error. I can not help you if I don't see the problem myself.

My test server runs MySQL 5.

We have installed Elxis on several environments without ever seen such an error message.
But reports like yours, are comming in saying that under some unknown situation this error comes up.

Please contact John with a PM to try to clarify what is going on.

I can send you all the screens copies of the install of my site located at ovh.com on their 60gp reliable hosting plan... until this Elxis Fatal error on line 94.
Your install is automatic and fatal error at line 94 is not what is expected to continue with Elxis.
I have tested others CMS: Mambo, Joomla, Xoops,... without problem (until now).

I have solved many problems as yours.
There was always something wrong on that sites that had similar problems.
The only thing I can do for you is to install Elxis to your site by myself.

If you wish:
- upload a clean Elxis 2006.4 package to your site.
- send me url
- I need access to your database manager (cpanel probably)
- I need access to your ftp account

I guarantee that I will install Elxis on your site if your server enviroment fullfils Elxis requirements.

I have requested information about the Mysql version used by my hosting company.
You are true they use Mysql version under 4.1 (4.0.xxx).
Changes can be made to use Mysql 5 in one or two days.
I inform you later if all is ok with the install.
