New error log entry...
«
on:
October 07, 2008, 17:49:28 »
Greetings.
I updated from
2008
to
2008.1
did the hash file run and the site info,
(statistics),
adjustment and everything appears to run fine;
Thank-you team Elxis.
, and
Thank-you
dataHell
I get the following entry in my error log;
File does not exist: D:/../mambots/editors/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/xhtmlextras, referer: http:/../index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=10
It does exist and is populated, "
../xhtmlextras
" being a directory and not a file.
As much as I can tell at this point,
TMCE
works fine.
Any ideas as to
why
this error is generated and, if so, suggest a possible solution?
Thank-you.

OK.
Thanks for responding,
datahell
.
One more thing that may or may not be related.
I added a new article and everything went well, but it doesn't appear on the front page.
The
FrontPage
component shows it. And I can move it
up/down, publish/unpublish
it, but it is consistently a no-show.
The only error is the one posted above.
Cache is disabled...

I don't see any error on TinyMce, all plug-ins are loaded normally.
Press control+F5 in your browser to clean it's cache and re-load the page from the server.
On Elxis 2008.0 you are not allowed to publish submitted content items from front-end. A site administrator must approve/publish the submitted content item.
On Elxis 2008.1 you can set via the Access Manager a user group to be able to publish content items.
Elxis administration -> Site -> Access manager
Select your desired user group and click "edit permissions"
If the publish content permissions does not exist for that group add it:
Action / Publish / Content / All
Action / Publish / Content / Own

Hello.
I publish my articles logged in as the
Super Administrator
, so permissions isn't a problem, and I had blown out the cache all ready, both
Elxis
and
FireFoxs
.
The article in question did, eventually, come up.
However, the error log still shows the above error. It strange, for as I can tell,
TinyMCE
is working just fine... yet the error persists...
... very strange...

I have a bit of additional information on this problem.
I get the error every time that I reload the front page
if I'm logged in
, and only then, and a new error line is generated with every reload.
If I'm not logged in it doesn't happen.
I thought that it might be my cookies but I deleted them and it made no difference.
I also tried it on another machine where it caused the same error, but only while I'm logged in as admin.
Also, I do not know if this is related, but I can no longer put up a "
Contact
" that is accessible from the front page with the "
Contact Us
" item.
I can create and enter a contact item from the backend and everything seems fine, but I always get the "
Error
" page saying "
Requested contact not found or you are not allowed to access it.
", it doesn't matter if I have contacts set or not, activated or not, published, or default.
I hope this helps track down the problem.
Thanks.
