Hello all,
Now that I have some extra time, I would like to redo my site using elxis. (Shows you how much I like elxis)
My question is that I have found a few templates for joomla 1.0 and 1.5 that I like but I would like to know which version might be easier to convert to elxis?
As a second question, while I have been analyzing elxis module positions, I would like to know:
1. Would it be better to have more MODULE POSITIONS available for flexibility?
2. if the template should be designed for more MODULE POSITIONS again for flexibility?

Joomla 1.0 is more similar to Elxis templates ...
Of course if you implement more module positions in your template , you will have more flexibility
But just try to implement standard positions for your template ...
You can find them from the Elxis default template

Farhad,
Thanks for the reply. I'll have a look to see if there is a 1.0 version of what I have been looking at and to download a demo and place it on my local server with elxis to see what kind of problems I might run into.

Just as an additional thought, I would like to know if someone where to request that a template be made specifically to comply with elxis, what would those specifications might include?
e.g. 100% table less css, etc.

first you must work with div and not with table tr td etc.
