Problem installing template
«
on:
July 11, 2007, 19:37:58 »
I am trying to install the template named Pathway2 which is supposed to work for Joomla 4.5.1 or higher.... and i get the following error when trying to install:
File /home/nemotech/public_html/411/cms/tmpr/install_469505d9c97d7/index.php does not exist!
does anyone have any idea what would cause this? I have no problems with the rest of my installation....
Thanks in advance! Chris (I have attached the template I am trying to use)

I was having trouble installing templates also. For the ones that fail to install because of a supposedly missing file
unzip them onto your hard drive
upload (FTP) the template keeping the directory structure intact to the administrator\components\com_intaller\template - make sure you don't upload from in your instance the directory "Pathway2" - only the files under it.
Go into the backend - Templates Manager/Site Templates and "Install from Directory" - not upload!!
I've installed Joomla-Art, Rocketthemes, Joomla-shack and they all work fine doing it this way
Hope this helps
Geoff

Unzip template locally and re-zip it without container folder.
