I have not yet tested Elxis with PHP 8. I will do it very soon and implement any changes needed in Elxis 5.3.

Thanks for the reminder!

I started making Elxis PHP8 compatible. It will be ready in 2-3 days I guess. I use PHP 8.1.

Done! Elxis 5.3 Atlas will be compatible to PHP 8 ;)
With this, absolutely required update, I think it is time to release Elxis 5.3.
Install the new Elxis or update your existing installation when 5.3 becomes available.

We always try to keep a backwards compatibility. Elxis 5.3 is compatible with PHP 5.4+, 7.x and 8.x. Problems may occur in some minor importance features with older versions but for PHP 7.2+ and 8.x we have full support.

Yeap! Take a full backup of your website at first and then apply the automatic update process.
