Title: Can't log in admin page

Hi there !

I tried to log in to admin page, but unfortunate I can't

I enter the correct username and password and the system remain in log in page.

I changed the password using the code provided in the forum, but nothing changed !

I don't even get and error message that my password is incorrect !

How can I fix it ?

This can happen for many reasons. Some guesses: wrong administration folder name in htaccess file, update from prior to 4.3 Elxis, modified files, javascript errors, problems with hosting (eg no available space), etc.

Can you login in frontend? Try www.example.com/user/login/

I removed your link as we dont write such links in public.
However I tried it and I get "wrong password".... Have you tried with an other browser?

Edit: I just noticed that site's navigation doesnt work. I believe that your problem is that there is no htaccess file!

Hi there !

you entered the moment that I rename .htaccess to htaccess,txt, just to see if it works.

Now, I rename it to .htaccess, so site's navigation works now... but I still can't log in to admin page

Using ftp, I upload elxis files again on this site, and now I have noticed that when I enter incorrect username and password and error message appears on screen.

But... when I enter the correct user and pass, I still can;t log in the admin page. It seems, it redirects me at the backend page....

What else should I do ?

I fixed it by updating to the latest version of elxis. Now it works fine !
