Title: Upgrade from 4.3 upwards failing
Post by: bully on December 13, 2017, 07:09:52
Hi there,

finally I am ready to upgrade  and fail 4.3 to 4.4 ...., always security warnings and gone. Reloading with Crtl-F5 ... also fails, other browsers is well.
Another side issue, renaming the estia folder also makes the site fail.
Any ideas?

Thx

You can disable Elxis Defender during update.
I guess renaming "estia" folder fails because you must also change "estia" folder name in .htaccess file.

RewriteRule ^estia/inner.php(.*) estia/inner.php [L]
RewriteRule ^estia/(.*) estia/index.php [L]

Hi Datahell,

Estia changing, I did like you advised, however, most of the links then within the admin panel where not working + the security messages.
You wrote disable security ... my settings are as follows: Normal, off, Mcrypt, g&c , No.

Where and what I would need to change it to? I am happy to give it a shot again

Thx again

I don't know without seeing it. Normally you rename the folder and then you edit the htaccess file. That's all you need to do. As for the security messages it is also strange. If you like send me a personal message with access details for your site administration and FTP and I will check it.

Ok, thx a lot.

I will try again and let you know, where I experience which error

after upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4, the following error:
Request dropped!
Possible attack via HTTP REFERER

Reference code: SEC-SESS-0002
Sorry for the inconvenience.

on all pages, only some pages can be reached, when accessing directly, affecting all pages

Somehow, I did manage both.
Done:
- clearing all cache
- uploading the full elxis 4.6
- uploading/replace my template
- run the db patch from 4.5 to 4.6

now suddenly, after renaming, estia works perfect with the new name
