Title: Question and comment regarding the Download plugin

I think that the download plugin needs a new parameter or setting for the location of files.
The reason I say this is because I prefer to have documents, word, excel, PDF's in a directory under MEDIA.

Why?  Because when I create a website, I prefer that all user files are located in one area which is also easier to back up separately.

A question about the Download parameters.  In the special functions, there is a releases folder option.
Is this usable to change the location of the files?

I am sorry Peter, what you ask is not supported. The Download plugin puts files in folder "files" in its installation folder. This folder is included in Elxis backup, so your downloads are in the generated backup file.

As for the "Special functions" I will write what the description says: "These options are for very special use and no support is provided for them. Please ignore unless you know what you are doing."
