Hi,

How many times can a coupon be used? is there a way to limit that?

Coupons created for one user can be use for another one if he knows the code?

A coupon can be used only 1 time.
If a coupon is used on a reservation and that reservation is cancelled (deleted) then the linked coupon is unlocked and can be used again in an other reservation.
To use a coupon you only need to know its code. So, theoritically, you can give a coupon to someone else.

Do you have plans to make coupons valid for unlimitted times within a period of time and user specific?

I could add this option in a future IOSR Hotels release. I think there is a better way to provide to someone a permanent discount (I believe this is actually what are you looking for). You could make that user a tour operator. In this case after he logs in  tour operator discount will be applied automatically to his bookings. This will have the same functionality as a permanent discount coupon and without the need to type any coupon code.
