Title: IOSR Filter hotels 2.0 and Mega Menu 1.0
Post by: webgift on August 30, 2014, 12:30:09
IOSR Filter hotels (http://webgift.dev/eblog/press-news/module-developement-iosr-filter-hotels-2.html) module developed having as a basic idea the world-known hotel reservations system like booking.com and hotels.com. After the request of Mr. Papadopoulos Christos, who we want to really thank him specially as he economically support us during the development and he allow us to release it under commercial license to the public after development phase complete.
It developed from scratch in order to be compatible with Elxis CMS 4.x, the great IOS Reservation 4.x component and its extension IOSR Hotels 1.x. We kept the same philosophy as a relative module we had released in past (http://www.webgift.dev/eblog/press-news/iosr-filter-hotels-module.html) but we changed the technology, the appearance and the whole performance. We could say that it is smarter than its predecessor! Read more (http://www.webgift.dev/eblog/press-news/module-developement-iosr-filter-hotels-2.html)

Mega menu (https://www.elxis.net/edc/menus-navigation/94.html) module present you a different approach of sub-menu items separating them into columns. You can change the appearance, performance even set the maximum number of columns! This module developed after Mr. Papadopoulos Christos request who we want to really thank him as economically support us and give the permission to release it for free under E.P.L (Elxis Public License)!

They both look great, great job Stavros!

Is there a demo I could try. I am sure it will fit quite nicely for our next project.

@datahell Thank you for the comment and the note [link fixed]! I won't leave any comment as i can not speak objectively. :)

Hello @timalsina, unfortunately there will be no any demo as it is the only one extension for now. If several extensions for IOSR Hotels will be developed in future by me, then i will create one for sure. There is a thought of course to create a private area and each one who is interested to send me a Private Message with his email address. I will inform that thread and the relative article if it happens.

Several screenshots (http://webgift.dev/eblog/press-news/module-developement-iosr-filter-hotels-2.html) have been implemented to the presentation page of it.

Hello,  I just bought the module, but, even I deactivated the Auto Mode no hotel is shown in the filter module.

Am I missing something?  Site: https://costaricatoptours.com

Please let me know what is missing?

Hello @judelgado,
IOSR Filter Hotels is compatible with IOSR Hotels 1.x and IOS Reservations 4.x. I assume
that you use a newer versions of IOSR Hotels that's why the current extension is not working
properly.
The current extension has not updated yet as from the IOSR Hotels 2.x version use its own
filter feature. Of course it is available for anyone interested that use 1.x version.
