I am very interesting in integration with other systems but almost all of them are very closed, like secret projects and costs a lot of money. I believe all big players they don't want integrations, they only try to have as many customers they can and force them to leave other companies. It is like google that tries to make internet its own business. I found some channel managers that they provide integration with multiple platforms but they are not what I want.
As for affiliates it is not what IOSR is for. The goal is not to link somewhere go to agoda, make a booking there, and someone get a fee for the reservation. IOSR Hotels is a booking system not an iframe integration of booking.com or a link to agoda or other similar platforms. If I find a serious company providing a good open API (like XML) for bookings I will surely implement it in IOSR Hotels. I could make a "black hat" integration with any system but this wont be a reliable system.

Hi Datahell,
I've bought IOSR Hotels and I'm very happy with this Extension.
I'd like at the new update to make attributes as
Meals (All,Room Only,Breakfast,Halfboard,Fullboard,All Inclusive)
and a specific form where the Hoteliers can start their Registration.
Another basic would be reviews and comments about the hotel and
a module ''My last viewed properties''.

@Vardaris Why don't you use the hotel extra services for meals? For reviews/comments: From the moment Tripadvisor stop XML reviews service I see that the alternative widgets by Tripadvisor are not so good and I will see how I can develop something better. For last viewed: This is easy and I will do it.
For your information: After some requests I implemented something very cool. In IOSR Hotels 2 and on rooms charged by number of persons you can set the price of the room separately for 1 person, for 2 persons, for 3 persons, ... , up to 6 persons.
So on a triple room you can now set the room price to:
50 EUR for 1 person
90 EUR for 2 persons
110 EUR for 2 persons
Only the first price (for 1 person) is required. So if you omit, for example, the price for 3 persons then this will be the price for 1 person X 3 (50 X 3 = 150). This also provides as backwards compatibility with IOSR hotels 1. Screenshots will be published soon.
I also think of turning back the Single Hotel feature that was on IOS Reservations 3.x series. This will make the system usable also to those have a single hotel.

Why don't you use the hotel extra services for meals?
I'd like to be as a service of the Hotel because most of Hotels include the BB/HB at the same (Total) Price , they don't have it as an extra service. It's more useful I think, especially when a visitor use the search filter :D

I don't see where is the problem... If you don't want it as extra and it is included in the price, then write it in hotel's description and/or select it in standard hotel facilities which are searchable.

From my opinion is better to add special tab navigation to create or remove promotion.
Promotion Update request Ability to add promotion on specific room type.
Ability to add promotion discount more than one on same promotion ( for example if The guest book 30 days in advance willl get 10% discount & if book 60 days in advance will get 20% etc )

I agree with vardaris it would be great prices with meals but I understand it can be a hell of prices and I think it is something really hard to achieve...
I have a lot of ideas, some of them are really a must, others will help our business to grow without a doubt. Please have a look:
API
- Ready made code for hotels to include a "search box or book now button" in their websites, average people don´t know how to make this... some kind of widget.
COMMENTS AND REVIEWS
- Built in system, with mode auto or previously moderated by admin
- Email reminder to leave a review after X days after the stay.
- Ability to disable comments until X comments have been submitted so a single bad comment can not ruin the hotel reputation.
- Ability for administrator to edit, disable, or even create new comments with a fake name.
- Ability to sort hotels for punctuation.
- Ability to sort reviews by date, age, etc.
DESING
- Hotel template option with big slideshow for pictures.
ROOM PRICES
Not refoundable price for any season and any room. Very important nowadays!!
SEARCHING
- Powerful search module for searching also for type of accomodation, etc.

I need a script to autocancel bookings made with direct payments not confirmed-paid after some time.
I mean something we can trigger with cronjobs and where we can select what payment methods are taken into account and how much time after the reservation was made for it to work.

You can see that you can charge freely based on number of persons or rooms (up to 6).
Note: Update from IOSR Hotels 1.x to 2.x will be free. Also note that this is a big update, all modules, plugins, etc, for IOSR Hotels 1.x will have to be updated inorder to become compatible to IOSR Hotels 2.x.

I would like the automatic cancellation of not-confirmed bookings to be triggered every 30 minutes... Is is possible?
I would also like an option to decide if cancellations requested by the users are automatically cancelled if they are in time,

Features request:
- Timezone setting for each hotel based on it's location (This is the most need feature to allow guests to cancel their reservation based on hotel set cancellation policy - for a global hotel booking portal having hotels all around the world, the reservation cancellation option becomes inactive once the guest passes allowed cancellation time - hoteliers and admins can always cancel or move the reservation)
- Option for hotelier to input local hotel confirmation/cancellation number once booking gets confirmed or cancelled by the hotel besides system generated confirmation number.
- Option to block adjust/close/re-open whole hotel or specific room inventory by the hoteliers based on their local inventory level (eg. for 3 days, 10 days etc.)
- Autocomplete search widget for Hotel Destination Name, Hotel Name etc. input field
- Ability to automatically adjust inventory for multiple distribution channels based on sales/cancellation - similar to http://www.onlinebookingmanager.com/distribution_channel_service.php
- Restrict hotelier from deleting hotel/hotels
- Option to charge fix fee to hotelier by admin on a yearly basis besides monthly fee.
- Hoteliers sign-up form

- Another importand would be "Alternatives Hotels" where 2-3 hotels from the same destination or nearest places are shown (Ideal: with distance from this hotel, if possible).
- As I said previous - "Last Viewed Hotels" is very necessary.
- Some Labels like "Best Deal" or "2013 best hotel with a cup icon" or possibility to make my own label and place it before or next to the Hotels' title (enable/disable).
- User's ability request and change the date or number and room type when receiving e-mail's invoice and an empty place where administrator can write and be shown something extra at the end of the Invoice (at the bottom)".
- At the Hoteliers Area, selecting dates on the Calendar with another way because is pitty strange for them (maybe hover / drag) or selecting dates "from-until"(There are hoteliers who are not so good with technology and want something more simple). "More simple.. more easy...more partners!"

Keep posting your ideas and feature requests. IOSR Hotels 2.0 is under development and I will implement most of your proposals posted here.
A note for IOSR Hotels 1.x users
Be prepared for a major change! The upgrade from v1.x to v2.x will be easy, smooth and free but there will be many changes. I added many new settings that allows you to control better your booking system. There is also a logging system that allows you to track everything important made on IOSR hotels during your absence. The interface is 100% mobile friendly and there is a brand new styling system. This means that if you have a custom style for IOSR Hotels you will have to re-do your styling via CSS after you upgrade to v2.x. Also all IOSR modules and plugins will have to be upgraded too.
I will post a development report after some days to notify you about the already made changes and new features.

Option to custom build 'Filtered By' AJAX filters from the backend for front end hotels results listings page. Eg. sliding price range, smoking, non-smoking, pet friendly etc., … and clicking more filters would display more filters for output results - similar to bookings.com. Sort by review score.

You can now filter results by rating score (IOSR Hotels 2 supports guests rating/score on hotels). You can set which filters to be used or you can hide them all. You can also re-order hotels by rating score. I might also add one more filter with discounts (last minute, early booking, not refundable, etc.)
Rating hotels
You can rate 5 hotel characteristics (Cleanliness, Comfort, Staff, etc) and optionally add a comment. The final score is a float number from 1 to 10.
This score is divided into 5 ranges
9+ Excellent
8+ Very good
7+ Good
6+ Pleasant
1+ Tolerable

Rating Hotels looks awesome!
Option to filter out results with a price range would be great if it has not been done already. Discount filter will help to generate more sales.

It's obvious to mention here that IOSR Filter Hotels 2.0 (https://www.elxis.net/edc/business/95.html) module will be updated when IOSR Hotels extension v.2.0 will be released. Thank to Is Open Source the new version of this extension will be published even to the inner page of IOSR Hotels extension (left area).
Of course all the upcoming updates from 2.0+ will be provided without any charge to the users who have already bought version 2.0 of IOSR Filter Hotels module.

You can now (v2.x) have your custom filter on the left column, hide the default one and you can also change the contents of the main column with an AJAX request without refreshing the page.
BTW added Meals filtering options in the default side filter.

I found guest extranet very confusing. A simple extranet similar to hotelier extranet but stripped down version where logged in guests can be redirected to this extranet page to find their reservation, cancel reservation and change their password would be great.

- When a visitor chooses main destination or a subregion, (for example, Athens or Athens Airport or Piraeus) I think that would be better, for the Engine on going directly to the available Hotels and not to the Subregions. The Subregions could be visible at the Bottom, next to the Hotels Presentations. I think that a visitor who knows what he wants, likes a rapid search without referrals and redirections.
- Another Idea is to save properties to lists

And what if all sub-locations have hotels? Which sub-location to display?
I believe this "problem" is easy to be solved with good internal linking. Place direct links to the locations you are interested in either as menu items, or inside articles, modules, etc.

I work simultaneously on many features and the whole IOSR Hotels 2.x is under heavy re-construction. This is why I didn't post anything yet. Many features already requested and some others, not mentioned here, are under development. Also the frontend interface is under reconstruction (new template system). So I don't have many things to show yet. I will post below a (very) brief list on some of the new features which have already been implemented or are under development.

Can the hoteliers reply to the customer comments ?
I thing is very important for hoteliers to add a reply for every customer comment but not to begin a dialog ! One comment from customer one reply from the hotelier.

Hoteliers and administrators can freely post rating/reviews even with fake names ;D and they can -off course- reply to an other review. They can also publish/delete reviews. Guests can post a review only after their stay to the hotel is complete. They receive an email notification containing a secret link they can follow to post a review, once per reservation. This review is published after hotelier/admin approval (they also get notified via email).

Great system with great people behind it. I can't be more happy using it.
I vote for adding a Voucher. Especially under multiple hotels mode:
We sell a lot of rooms in different hotels. So if our customer printed the confirmation email and present it at the hotel this will cause us problem because the hotel can see the price we sold the room. Then they may persuade the customer that their prices are cheaper and that next time they should book directly using their portal.
So instead the customer will receive both receipt & voucher. Receipt is just for book keeping but the Voucher is the document that should be presented at the hotel. Customer can resend/print either voucher or receipt right from the control panel

In addition to meals another feature we need is Extra beds. The problem with "Add-on Services" is that it is very general and hotel wide. While both meals and extra beds can vary in prices depending on room and season.

@Webgift: Approval before publish is absolutely required. Very negative comments, or comments containing bad words, or ratings that are not realist (eg I visit an excellent hotel and just for fun I rate it very bad) will ruin hotel reputation. This is why approval is required. And this is valid for any business. Even news sites use publish after approval on comments.
@SarDira: Meals have already been implemented. Read my previous posts.

In Booking.com comments and ratings are automatically aproved after a minimum number has been left (this way a single bad comment can´t ruin the hotel reputation).
No hotelier will accept bad comments so they will never be shown and then the rating system will be useless...
I think comments should be automatically aproved after for example 3 or 5 (or better a number the admin can choose). If the hotelier think some comments is really unfare he can always contact the administrator for him to unpublish it.

That's right. Hoteliers will not publish bad comments. Only allow admins to moderate comments and allow hoteliers to comment on guest comments.

I understand which is fair and which is not. I can build an 100% automated hotels rating system but people using IOSR Hotels want to be able to post fake reviews and also be able to control reviews by guests (delete/approve them)*. This is what they have requested me as a feature request and this is what I built. If you, in your site don't want to post reviews by your selves, then don't do it. It's that simple. As for the auto-publishing of reviews I will add a Yes/No setting in IOSR Hotels configuration. So, all of you will be happy ;D
@juanon: Don't compare the number of reviews booking.com has with a hotel listed in IOSR . A hotel in booking.com might have 300 reviews. IOSR users sites don't have so many visits/traffic and the reviews will be only a few per hotel. So a single bad review might ruin hotel reputation.
* Note that no-one is allowed to edit the review and change guest rating. The hotelier can only delete it. So whatever you see submitted by customers is 100% real.

That looks excellent. I like the way it is now! Is there a way to have a css rule applied on hoteliers replies to differentiate them from customer review entries.

As you can see in my last screenshot the last row with the action links is only visible to the hotelier/admin and in this row the real User ID (I will change it with username) of the person that posted the review is shown. So if the hotelier/admin post a fake review with a fake name/country/etc, he will be able to distinguish it from the others. There is also one more important information that it is not visible in the screenshot. Below real guests reviews it is displayed the reservation code for which is the review (remember that they can post 1 review per reservation). So you can track the reservation that lead to that review by the hotel guest. Note that this page is not yet 100% complete. I believe tomorrow I will have the reviews system 100% complete.
Note
For those want to keep using the Tripadvisor widget or the user comments via Disqus these systems will remain in v2.x but I recommend the usage of the new internal reviews system because it is much better than Tripadvisor and Disqus services.

a feature that might be useful in some owners occasions is one more payment option.
I think it as follows:
''Pay to the hotel'' with the notice: "The hotel, depending especially of the terms and conditions of your booking, keeps the right at any time to ask you for your credit card info or request you to make a deposit before arrival "
I let it upon other users opinion and your judgement if you believe that might could be useful.

The reviews/rating system is now complete. I added a configuration option -as juanon asked- to auto-publish reviews after a number of existing reviews. You can set this to 0 (auto-publish from 1st review), 2, 3, ... up to 1000.
Regarding myallocator
I had contacts with them in the past. At the end the integration did not get implemented. One of the problems of such an integration is that IOSR is not a single hotel management system, it is not even a single channel manager. IOSR is complex to their standards and there is not a single customer to deal with. I believe myallocator is the best option from those I have found in the past. It is not in my plans for v2.0 to develop a built-in integration of IOSR with a third party channel manager. What I plan to do is to extend the IOSR Hotels API in order to provide more ready-to-use tools to a third party developer wishes to build such an integration.

Regarding myallocator, perhaps you could think about developing an integration as an addon, for a price. I'd be happy to pay for it.

. Is possible for the administrator to place a property in 2 different locations? (Location & Sublocation too)..
For example, when I place a hotel to Athens Airport (as sublocation), a customer who searches a hotel in Athens, this property isn't shown at Athen's hotels.
.. Another good idea would be, to ask the customer at the same "review e-mail", what's his opinion about a property and place it to a specific category (beach vacations, winter vacations hotels, congress/convensions hotels, city hotels, hotels for honeymoon, agricutlure hotels etc.)..

Please change the way to upload images from one by one image to multiple images like facebook did.

@jesusto The email gets validated already. The second field wont solve the possibility of entering wrong email address because most of the people will just copy-paste the email to the second field or select the email their browser provides them with the auto-complete feature.
@vardaris If you pick the "flexible" option it searches in all nearby locations.
@metee The more images you upload at once the more possible is the upload to fail. This is because of the maximum upload filesize limit in php (which in some servers is just 2mb) and because some people upload images without resizing them first (directly from a camera).

I had a feature to request (you may sell it separate add-on) I would like IOSR hotel allow every agent had their own sub website (or something like timeline ) and url like http://iosrhotel.main/hotelname which allow agent to custom something like header or select theme.

You can use Multisites features as freely provided by Elxis CMS 4.x series. IOSR Hotels support this feature anyway! You could also read a relative article (https://www.elxis.net/docs/using-elxis/administration/multisites.html) on Elxis Documentation area.

I try to explain the problem:
many hotels and residences in Sardinia, accept the beginning of the holiday only on certain days of the week.
For example, only on Saturday and Sunday. Or Saturday / Monday / Tuesday or Wednesday only
In every day of the year or only in certain periods (June-July-August for example).
This characteristic is especially created to match discounted ferry (only on Wednesdays, for example) to stay at the hotel.
The primary requirement is to publish the rooms but to stop booking on arrival day NOT ALLOWED.
At the same time show the rooms to the customer to sell them on other days.
After this short explanation, we thought suggest this implementation of IOSR:
1.
During the management phase of the rates of the rooms, selecting a period in the calendar,
is shown the window of prices, as shown in picture 1;
At this point you may enter "Days arrivals not accept" (see Picture 1), where we indicate the days of the week
where entrances are not permitted. Saving and making updates we can get the calendar in this way (Picture 2):
Where the days highlighted in blue are the "Day arrivals not accept" (Picture 3).
During the booking if the customer requires, for example, from June 2, 2014 al June 8, 2014
must appear a signal similar to this (picture 4).
Which indicated that in the period rooms are available. But the hotel accepts the start of the
Holiday only on certain days of the week. In this way the customer can change
dates and request a different period accepted by the hotel. Picture 4
IOSR in response to yellow (Picture 4) captures the day requested by the customer (Monday, Jun. 2, 2014)
It captures for the calendar (Pictures 2) days allowed for the Stay (Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
In this way "builds" the response to the client.
The purpose is also to prevent the automatic booking of the customer on Thursday (for example). But in any case show the rooms as available. Only on different days from those of the initial request. Giving a chance to sell more at the hotel. But a extra opportunity to the customer to book.

I know something like that is still far away for what IOSR tries to achieve but I think it will be great for our business to give some posibilities that hoteliers demand:
- Easy Myallocator (or something similiar) integration.
- Tripconnect integration.
- Google analytics.
- Facebook integration of the booking box

I won't kneel in frond of booking.com, trivago, hotels.com, tripadvisor, google, facebook, twitter, amazon, microsoft, or any other "big player" that tries to occupy the internet. I believe in free internet and de-centralized services. The software I develop is around this believe. Integration is a custom job. IOSR Hotels has already the tools you need to build any integration you want, this is the existing XML/JSON REST API which will become even more powerful in version 2. I think that interesting services for IOSR are provided by Myallocator only -at least from the list of companies for which I have made a research till now.
Think of this scenario.
A hotelier has his hotel(s) listed in IOSR. He has also his hotel(s) at booking.com. To create an integration between IOSR and booking.com he will have to also create an account to Myallocator. His life becomes harder than easier. Now he has to work daily with -minimum- 3 different services. He will also have to deal often with compatibility issues (eg provider X changed the integration code and now the integration is broken) and with network issues. I will not provide him support for services provided by third parties and third parties will not provide him support for IOSR. He must have his own development/support team if he wants to keep his services running and in good condition all the time.
Think of this scenario.
A hotelier has his hotel(s) listed in IOSR. Via the API displays his hotel(s) in unlimited other sites. He can accept bookings from everywhere and manage everything from IOSR. He doesn't have to deal with external companies, pay additional fees, etc.

I understand your opinion and I know IOSR Hotels is A REALLY GREAT PIECE OR SOFTWARE and nobody can ask for more for the price it has.
It was just a suggestion for what I hear everyday when speaking to hoteliers, they want it all but don´t want to spend the money it takes.
Sadly Booking.com is a must for them (80% of reservations come from that site), but at the same time it is killing their business because the high commisions...

I will implement all the features I have planned and then I will see what more can be done. But if something is too big to be implemented I will leave it for a future update. If I implement all people needs the development will end on next summer! No one will wait so long. So it is better to proceed with small steps and focus on most important things first. The new features added in v2 are already too many, the interface has changed a lot and it is very friendly to mobile devices. I believe you will like a lot the new version.

I don´t know if I´m still in time for requests...
I have 4 suggestions:
1- This one is for Elxis CMS. I would like very much a suscribing module for Mailchimp because it is free and very usefull. A checkbox in IOSR booking form to autosuscribe at the time of making a reservation will be really owesome.
2- I would like subsites have a different main configuration file for IOSR Hotels, so we could choose a different css file and options in any subsite.
3- I think that using autoconfirmed payment methods like paypal and offline credit card no emails should be sent before the payment is made (I mean in next version, with the new autocancel after some time feature). So hoteliers won´t get any unuseful email and if you are using interfax won´t waste any money.
4- I need an option to autoconfirm cancelations, I mean the reservation is automatically deleted when the users asks for it.

1. I don't integrate Mailchimp, it is not an Elxis extension.
2. Supported in v2.
3. A booking does not always require payment in IOSR Hotels. Also a payment can be repeated. So payment and booking are different processes and you should receive separated email notifications.
4. No, this is a bad idea. Consider this: I book 10 rooms, reserve these rooms from others and 1 day before the checkin I cancel them just for fun. If this cancellation gets auto-confirmed you will end with 10 empty rooms.

I´m speaking to a developer about developing a bidirectional integration between IOSR hotels and myallocator. He´s studing IOSR API and will give me a price. Do you think is it better to wait some months for v.2.0?
If I get that done, I will only need some more PMS features, so I can sell the product as "The only tool you need to manage your hotel":
- Calendar board for all rooms (I attach image), so hoteliers can see all the rooms and availability with a look.
- Some kind of Clients manager to keep data and know who has already arrive, who is going to arrive today...
- Some other basic features of PMS.
Do you have plans for something like that?

By saying "sell the product" I hope you mean "sell the services your sites provides" and not sell IOSR as software because this is totally illegal. You don't own IOSR to sell it as software, you have a license to use it and just that.
Regarding your requests:
- Calendar for all rooms. Bad idea. I have clients with hundreds of rooms. Listing all rooms in a page will create a mess and nothing else.
- Clients manager. You can already search, filter and re-order reservations in many ways. It is easy to locate reservations for any date.
IOSR Hotels v2 is a huge improvement in comparison to v1. I need time to complete it, test it thoroughly, write documentation, etc. IOSR is very complex software and I have to be sure that the new features will function properly before I release it to public. I can't tell yet when it will be ready.

Also have an option to manually type in hotel name for better URI replacing hotel ID in URI with hotel name. That way if the system generated URI seems too long, administrator has an option to make it shorter by manually typing in shortened URI having a hotel name.

99% I will do it. But I will also leave the current URLs (with the hotel ID) for backwards compatibility and other reasons. So there will be a small duplicated URLs issue.
Current (v1) hotel page URL:

Notes
1. If you have only hotels extension enabled then the "hotel" part is removed from the URL:

2. If you have enabled the option to hide countries from URLs then also this part is removed from the URLs:
http://www.example.com/reservations/cyclades/mykonos/blue-lagoon-hotel.html
3. This also works since v1 (sorter possible URL):

and so this will also work in v2:

It would be possible to develop 4 (or n. different discounts) different discounts
to be included for the Tour Operators, using the ID Number:
9% for Tour Operator ID number: 1; 4; 63; etc.
10% for tour operators: X
11% for tour operators: Y
12% for Tour Operator ID number: 3; 8; 266; etc.
I hope I have explained the concept.

You asked for it and became available in IOSR Hotels 2.0!
You can now assign a custom reservation code (Local Reservation Code) to any reservation. This can be the reservation code used internally by the hotel, a code from a third party service, or anything else. A reservation can be search by both the system and local reservation codes. The Local Reservation Code is visible everywhere (client control panel, mails, reservation print, PDFs, hoteliers conmtrol panel and administration area). I attach a screen-shot from the reservations list of the administration section with this new feature.

@jorgenunes : Why don't you use the existing Reservations Report feature? It does what you want and you can export the report as XML or CSV. You can afterwards mail the report to the hotelier.

Stop sale must be defined for some period, example : stop sale from 25/ 12 /2014 to 02/ 01 /2015 : so the room can't be booked for this period.

The "stop sales" feature has been implemented as a general room option.
Accept bookings options: Normal (accept reservations), No new reservations (stop sales), Inquiry form.
When No new reservations has been selected the room is been displayed but it cannot be booked.
When Inquiry form has been selected no prices/availability is shown for that room. A contact form is been displayed instead.
See attached screenshots.
In case you want to have stop sales for a specific time period then set the vacancy of that period to 0 in Price rates tab.

A new feature on IOSR hotels 2 just 3 hours before 2015!
You can now contact directly a hotel guest via SMS. Send any message you want. The SMS is available only if it is enabled in the hotel the guest made the reservation.

Both of these have nothing to do with IOSR or Elxis.
To implement a live chat or a phone call button like skype (https://www.elxis.net/edc/communication/4.html) just copy-paste the ready-to-use implementation code they give you to your template. That's all.

Hi to all,
i have one little suggestion for new version if possible:
That is to have "static - Non bookable" objects listed after search for those hotels who do not want to publish rates or simply owners are not capable to mange their property (example: older people or IT newbies) !
That objects will be listed on end of regular search list as "offline" objects (photos and descriptions of object and rooms will be shown) with note that you need to contact owners to check availability or book.
I found this interesting because unfortunately there are lot of "hoteliers" that are not ready for advance system as this!

I dont know if it can be done, but i use a lot when booking or searching for the best hotel option: Hotels Map Search Results. So, after searching on the form, to select a hotel by location and price on the map. Price it has to be of the date selected (the cheapest room)not the lower price of the season. That would be perfect ....

Is possible in the new version have more chance of discounts for room rates: (3 or 4 different discounts) in the /Edit hotel/ discount:
10% from April 1 to April 15, with a time limit reduction to 15 February.
15% from 16 April to 30 April time limit reduction to 15 February.
20% from 1 to 15 July time limit reduction to 15 February.
etc.
the customer can book the cheaper room in different periods but by February 15. after the date the system inhibits the discount. thanks.

this is the message after search from module with drop down list:
"Pick the destination of your choice, set your desired check-in and check-out dates and your rooms preferences to get the available hotels. If you don't get any results set more generic criteria or click to one of the recommended destinations."
You have only one location... OK I know why this happens. Please wait up to 1 day for a newer version to fix this problem.

The development of IOSR hotels is paused because I have no free time available to work on it. It will surely be completed but I can't tell a date. Existing IOSR Hotels v1 is absolutely fine for hotel bookings, when v2 will become available you will be able to upgrade to the new version for free.

No, the development is not stopped, it is paused. IOSR hotels v2 is by 80% ready. I will complete it but I can't tell a date when this will be done. It might be in 15 days and it might be in 3 months. I can't tell right now. I could release a version with less features than those announced but I dont want that. I want to publish it when it will be 100% as scheduled.

After a user request I added in IOSR Hotels v2.0 the option during reservation to provide the room guests information (name and age). A global setting controls if these details will be asked by the customer or not. In case you enable it then IOSR will consider these information as required.
I have done much work on IOSR Hotels v2.0 lately, if I continue like that it will be ready till the end of April.

I just added in IOSR Hotels v2.0 the option to push (forward) new or cancel reservation notifications to custom URLs for third party systems integration. When someone makes a new booking for a hotel IOSR Hotels, silently in the backend, forwards reservation details to any third party system. This way you can update an other system, a database, or something else, for a booking made in IOSR Hotels. The PUSH notification URL can be anything and you can also declare your own variables to pass to the request.
Note: IOSR Hotels v2.0 development is almost complete. The only big part I still have work to do is the update of the API.

You see only updates for IOS Reservations core. You don't see updates for IOSR Hotels because at least one improtant php file is modified. In order to access IOS remote centre your IOSR must be activated and its files must be original. Restore the original files on extension "Hotels" from IOSR Hotels package.
Important files: PHP (only) files in folders "controllers", "views", "models", "includes"

ok the problem is with book.php and hotelier.php. there are not modified but applied directly from patch_iosr_hotels_10_to_latest. I restored 2 file from "ext_iosr_hotels_1.0_r705" and work.

- How meals work? Couldn´t we set a price (in money or discount) for any type of meal included with a room?
- Will be a search module for searching in single hotel? And one advance to search for type of accomodation, price, etc?

- You set meals that are included in the price (full board, half board, breakfast, etc). If you want to charge meals then you can use the already existing "Hotel extra services".
- Search system is more advanced in version v2.

I developed an easy to use integration method for IOSR Hotels v2.x XML/JSON API.
You can easily display a booking form into ANY php powered web site. The booking is performed on the integration site via the XML/JSON API connection.
I also developed the following ready to use extensions for various CMSs:
- Elxis 4.x plugin (ready and tested)
- Joomla 3.x plugin (ready and tested)
- Wordpress plugin (almost ready, under development)

Everything is ready but I need time to re-check them and make sure everything is OK. Please dont push me, IOSR hotels is a big project (more than 20 extensions with thousands of lines of hand-written code) and needs time to perform the checks. IOSR hotels v2 will be released when I will be sure that everything is OK.
