I have started developing a eForum.

Development will be carried out in their spare time.
So expect quick results should not.

No one has yet decided to develop a eForum?

Bumping the thread to ask for a progress report on this. How is it going?
I suppose this eforum will be compatible with Elxis 4.x, and that it will be quite different from the Elxis 2009.x "eforum" component, correct?

No response so far.
Another question then (to Datahell, I guess): will the eForum be migrated to work with Elxis 4.x?

There is no any migration process between the two versions. Each 'old' extension must be developed 
from scratch. So please wait till the time of a relative announcement will be published. ;)
