Title: after changing host cannot send e-mail from contact form

Hi, I have moved website to a new host and updated the e-mail settings in admin according to the new host. I am using smtp. Now I am getting this error message: "We are sorry but your message could not be send. Please re-try."

Any help would be very appreciated.

Maybe you are not allowed to send emails via SMTP in your new host or you use wrong SMTP settings.

Enable error logging in Elxis configuration, try to send an email, and if failed, see the error.log to find out the cause of the problem. In case of error contact your hosting provider for the correct SMTP settings and for further support.

Hi datahell, thank you very much for your reply. I contacted my hosting provider and they said the problem is the send from e-mail "You should set the "MAIL FROM" email address to a one hosted on your server". Actually I have set the sender e-mail (settings, e-mail) to one which is hosted on my server. But according to the hosting provider's log the sender e-mail is the one entered in the contact form's e-mail field. Funny with the old provider it worked. Any suggestion?

I insist on my previous reply, SMTP connection details are wrong...
