Title: IOSR 4.x --- location photo gallery

when setting a location.. there is the option to use flick to get photos of the location..and make a location photo gallery...

if not using flick is it possible to set photos manually?

or is it possible to upload wanted photos in flick and in a way request from flick those photos?

You can use any plugin or module to display location images.
Ideal module positions that can replace Flickr's gallery are: iosh_location_side and iosh_location_sideb
Ideal plugin is the gallery plugin which you can integrate into location's description area.
If you upload your own images in Flickr you can give them certain tags and then use these tags in IOSR to load them.
You can also take a look at the "location extras" module which also supports images.

IOSR by default uses Flickr as is a very easy way to load location images without having to mess up with images upload.
