Title: search page - internet explorer - apc problems
Post by: maple on June 16, 2013, 17:46:55
Hi,

I've noticed that if I activate APC, doesn't display the page www.mydomain.com/search/ in any version of Internet Explorer. Also this morning with firefox (blank page) the rest of the website Works well except "add to browser" that have innestability with apc. Return the following error:

"The website cannot display the page

  HTTP 500

Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error.

What you can try:

Refresh the page.

Back"

thanks

Hi datahell,

You also ask me for the error log:

[2013-06-17 15:44:09]    ERROR in file /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/includes/libraries/elxis/search.class.php line 265
Call to a member function getPage() on a non-object

thanks
Title: Search - APC bug fix
Post by: datahell on June 17, 2013, 20:50:22
Ooops, you found a bug! :o

Replace the file below with the one I attach here.
includes/libraries/elxis/search.class.php

The error was generated because when APC was enabled the default engine was not set, now fixed.

Thanks for the bug report!

Bugs are always our highest priority.
You report it, we tested it, fixed it, released an updated Elxis 4.1 version (https://forum.elxis.org/index.php?topic=7652.msg49938#msg49938) and a patch.
All these is less than an hour.
I think no other CMS has faster support ;D
