Hello everyone,
... I was really expecting some German users to want to include their own language in the great new version of Elxis!!
... all much too busy?... really?

Hi,
this thread is pretty old but I think it fits.
Currently I explore several CMS to find one for my new small website. Elxis is currently one of the best.
Unfornutately I spotted some missing translations (and some not too perfect ones).
So as a start I created a german translation for the contact plugin.
Filename with path:
/components/com_content/plugins/contact/language/de.plugin_contact.php
Should I decide to finally use elxis I will provide more translations.

Edit: Added new and changed translations for german. This time with path in the zip.

Yet another german translation, this time for com_sitemap. Unfortunately quite a lot of text is hardcoded and thus can't be easily translated.

It is a pleasure to give something back!
Actually I do have a question:
What is the best way to change hardcoded text into translatable text? I know what to do on the technical level, but I am unsure, how I am supposed to inform the creator of the original work (for example the Sitemap). Just a plain email with an attachment (full file or patch or anything else?) to the author (or the Elxis Team)?
I can provide the original english translation and the german one I would create.

Sorry for this late response. You could send me a message with the translated files at : webgift [at] elxis [dot] org. Then i will inform the developer of the extension and the relative entry on EDC will be updated when he'll give me the proper rights.
