Now that's online again, I've installed and can say that it is superb. Congratulations, indeed.
The only one thing that doesn't like me is that logo showing at first. Not so professional looking...
Anyway, thank you for your great effort (and result).

Thank you Luca for your comment. Just mention here that Cu3er provided from http://getcu3er.com/ website. As you can see on Free of Charge (https://getcu3er.com/signup) usage we can't remove the brand-logo of it.

Please, is there a way to copy the module in order to use it in a multilingual site? I mean, different slides/titles/descriptions/links tiled to the respective idiom.. I tried but only the module for the main language is displaying.
Thank you

Yes. This can be done by creating xml files manually , save it at the folder : modules/mod_cu3er/config/ and filling out the field Custom XML File Name parameter only like english : if your filename is for example: english.xml.

Module check specific parameters and create automatically that XML file. So in cases that we want to use in a multilingual site we have to create XML files manually for each cu3er module's copies ;)

Thank you WebGift, it was clear before the edit also. But could be my fault explaining my situation: the site has 3 languages published and I had set up 3 different set of slides. Each set of slides have to have its own title and description in its language, and each set of slides have to be displayed in its language only.
I thought it was possible to copy the module in order to have one for each language.

Maybe I can achieve that editing the installation file, giving different names and paths, exiting with this with 3 different and independent modules...

Thank you again for this divine module.

Ok you have 3 published languages.
The steps are :
1. 'original' cu3er module. Set the parameters from the module. As you have already done.
2. 1st copy of cu3er module.
 - Delete the parameters and create the XML file manually. Manually means edit the XML code and create a brand new xml file.
 - You can read the documentation from http://www.progressivered.com/cu3er/docs/ or you can copy the code from modules/mod_cu3er/config/config.xml file and change the titles - description and links.
 - Save that new xml file at directory modules/mod_cu3er/config/
 - At Module Parameter fill out only the field Custom XML File Name with the name of our new xml file.
3. 2nd copy of cu3er module. We have to do the same process as the 2nd step above.

Note :  Verify that each copy of Cu3er modules should run in specific language.

Inform me if you have any problem with that. Otherwise i will need access in order to fix that for you.

Yes, WebGift. I've proceeded exactly how you stated above. The procedure is straight on and I had understood it from your previous posts. But only the module for the default published language is showing.
Of course, the 'copies' were correctly set to show in their proper menus and language.
The 'main' module can be set to show in all languages as well as alone in other languages too. But not the copies...
BTW, the behavior it is the same for any templates I tried

Ok, something has gone wrong. I had set up the module to show in user1 and for the english it was rendering outside the visible area. I think I got it to work!

Sorry and thanks for your time. Now, I can truly say GREAT!

Hello.
Began to use the module. Faced with the problem - does not show in the description of the Russian language.

You can solve this problem?

Can you please verify me first if you use the default font family or have you set the font families manually ?

Font used by default - Arail

And another question: how can hide Autoplay?
Title: Re: Cu3er Module
Post by: webgift on April 18, 2011, 21:21:42
So we must to disable the Embedded font option.
Default embedded font works only with English language.

At Module Parameters:
1. Set the embedded font to No.

You can change the font family now from Arial to any font family you like => Description area. You can do the same with the heading font option.
Inform me if fixed that.

And another question: how can hide Autoplay?

You must edit the code of XML file in order to hide the auto play symbol.

Luca ,

Try to fill your links at Slide Link(s) to area. I must fix the Description Link(s) to: area. One little issue found right here ;).

Luca ,

Try to fill your links at Slide Link(s) to area. I must fix the Description Link(s) to: area. One little issue found right here ;).

Yes, it seams that the "description" link is the issue, always opening in new window. When I click on the slides they opens correctly. But i directly edited the config.xml so the problem is not in that file.

I also noticed that whenever the config.xml file is created a little mess (spaces...) is added here and there. Also, I had to upload a backup version, because after saving the new configuration [using the module config tab itself, this time] the module showed the cu3er logo only.

we don't edit the config.xml file. It's complicated enough :) i will fix the target of description links and i will inform you.

Sorry for that late message.
I tried to fix the issue today regarding description link target and i found out that topic (http://www.progressivered.com/cu3er/support/topic/half-problem-with-target-link). As i searched that issue hasn't fixed at that version of Cu3er 0.9.2. So all we have to do is to follow the instructions and avoid writing urls at text area named : Description Link(s) to at the module parameters.

Hi webgift
I have question :
Is it possible to set the description area width/height ?
When i use for example  a width of 100px, the description area fills lot of Cu3er ara
Do i have to edit config.xml ?
Thanks

Title: Re: Cu3er Module
Post by: webgift on October 26, 2011, 11:08:07
Yes, you can do that. However i haven't included that options at module's parameters because there is a possibility to cut piece of text.
Solution: f.e width: 400 and height: 100

- In Case that you have created an XML File :
1. Open the xml file: /modules/mod_cu3er/config/ your_xml_file.xml (default: config.xml)
2. Change line #43 from  <tweenIn/> to  <tweenIn width="400" height="100"/>  (width: 400, height: 100)

- In case that you have changed the parameters of Cu3er's module (administrator area):
1. Open the file : /modules/mod_cu3er/mod_cu3er.php
2. Change the line #556
From :
$data .= "\t\t\t".'<tweenIn />'."\n";
To :
$data .= "\t\t\t".'<tweenIn width="400" height="100" />'."\n";
3. Save the file and go to parameters.
4. Change at least 1 parameter and save it.
Module will rebuild your XML file. You are ready to see the changes.

If you notice that width /height that you have set cutting the text then repeat the above processes ;)

Ok. You must set X and Y positions of the description area.
Change : <tweenIn width="585" height="50"/> to <tweenIn width="585" height="50" x="0" y="100"/>
