Title: IOSR: bookings made, information changed = what will happen?
Post by: rulez22 on February 24, 2011, 12:21:35
Got IOSR with some bookings made and confirmed.
What will happen to those bookings if information about hotel changed (hotel disabled or deleted), like - room types changed, rates changed, etc?
Will it affect those bookings?

If the hotel is deleted anything related to the hotel (including reservations) will also be deleted.

If you delete a room the reservations pointing to that room will not be affected but you will miss internal linking and some features (i.e move a reservation).

If you edit a room's basic information (such as charge type) the reservations pointing to that room will not be affected but you might view incorrect linked information for a few features (such as room charge type).

I replied to your question but you replied back something totally irrelevant! Why you post these questions? Are really questions or you try to do something else?

I like and want to hear feadback, but you dont do that. You just blame IOSR in every post you do and you are very rude.
In a post of yours which a deleted yesterday you said that IOSR sucks and that you are going to build your own booking engine, right? So, why you are still here?

When you post to a forum asking for help you must be polite because the support provided here is volunteer. You can be as bad person as you like in real life but here you will act like a gentleman. OK? If you need official support for IOSR you should use the build-in contact form to contact Is Open Source or the live chat from isopensource.com.
