Title: IOS Reservations presale questions

Hello

I'm looking forward at IOS Reservations for a client, it seems quite what we need. However there are a few questions, if you could help with your expertise:

- credit card data is stored on the server? (for the offline cc module)

- the licence seems quite restrictive. we should be developing a theme and layout from scratch, so this is important. I understand that modifying core files is not a good idea, we are not planning to do that, but i'd like to know if there's documentation on the supported functions. I'm talking about the IOS Reservations module, not the Elxis cms. similar to http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference .

Another question, about activation and local testing.
We do not have a domain purchased and this might be a while. If I understood correctly, we have to purchase it first, use it locally without activation, and enter the key only on the final site.
So this way ALL functions will be available for developing/testing? Locally?

Hi ,

IOS Reservation component ( not module ) license doesn't prevent you to develop from scratch the layout - template of your site. These two things are independent.

You can't activate this product locally.

thanks for your reply and for correcting me, I'm not familiar with the Elxis cms

This is what I've found in the user manual:
"If you want to test the component and check it's features work without activating the component. You can install it locally if you wish for testing purposes without activating it. Install and activate it on the production site when you are ready for online usage. For problems regarding your Product key and activation please contact IOS. "
I'm just not sure what the limitations are for not activating it.

Is credit card data cleared from the db after a specific period of time (for the Offline CC)?

Yes in that case you must contact with "Is Open Source" company.
Regarding for the Offline CC  payment method i think that stored specific parameters not detailed. For sure IOS will confirm that.
