Hi !

When i am trying to install a  .zip template i have a index.php error. I ve tried a lot of mambo joomla and 2 elxis (athina and cytherea) templates but the result was the same..

Here it is a screenshot of the problem requested.

I think you should extract your zip archive and copy into

C:\your site path\administrator\components\com_installer\template\

And run installation process from "Install from directory", not with "Upload Package File"

I has same problem with language installation.

Some people zip there template in a folder/subfolder/ccs this must be /folder/css/ etc
Or your folder on ftp the wright permission? (777)

Extract locally the template.

If after unziping the template files are inside a directory, enter into that directory and create a NEW zip file that includes only those files.

Use the NEW zip file to install your template.

Elxis doesn't like templates that are ziped including a parent directory!
