Title: IOS Reservation: payment process
Post by: akisp on March 26, 2010, 11:53:52
In a google search I 've seen a post for this specific topic, but since I can't find the original I 've decided to post a new one.
Why has the payment process changed? (oeo)
To ask from a client to "create" a new account should have been optional! But since there is a "must" shouldn't it be better to have a single page for all the data???
I 'm trying to say here
--------------------------
Page 1 -> Name, Surname, Username, Passord
Page 2 -> .... + Address + Telephone, mobile(optional), fax(optional)..
Page 3 -> ...Reserve (!!!)
Page 4 -> ok.
At least it should have been something like this
-------------------------------------------------------
Page 1 == Page 1 + Page 2
...other stuff untouched. But I still think that it's a bad thing to ask from your customer to make a login(so that he sees his reservation history and other things...he just wants to make a reservation and pay for it!!).
Thanks

We have discussed this subject many times...
IOSR requires to be a logged in user inorder to book a room. The registration process is part of the booking process. You just have one more step in the reservations process. I can not explain again why this works this way.
