Title: ftp problem..cant go beyond the database step..

i am using fedora 10..which uses LAMP..all requirements are fulfilled..but the ftp access is where ive been stuck for a long time..

is there a solution for this..ive edit the tmpconfig with the "$mosconfig" thing but still i couldnt connect ive open also the port 21 everything that i know to configure that will make the installation would work..

it says:

Database Connection settings
Fill-in the needed information in order Elxis to connect to the database and import basic data..

but i fill it in with the correct info..
is this server side?

help please..

You have a problem with incorrect mysql parameters, not ftp. You can finish installation even if something is wrong with ftp, but mysql user, pass, etc. must be correct.

sorry for the double post if you mean the database,i created one but the installer keeps on directing me in the database step..after the ftp access step..the fill up thing didnt came up or anything..

You are saying that you are not getting any form to fill DB parameters?

yes..i change the installer to 2008..because im using 2009..
