Hi people.
Sorry if I'm asking too much but is it possible to add panoramic image viewing capability to Marketplace? I have suggested this before to another member and want to know if it can be done. Then I will put in some effort and work closely under tutorship. Any opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

I think the last time I checked, joomla had a plugin to that. I think it will be a matter of adapting that to our case. Danke.

maketplace is a great component to manage commercial ads. Many peoples in their commercial ads use normal images not panoramic images. Dont' loose your time for marketplace ;). Remember: marketplace is a joomla component adapted for elxis where the php code has been all rewrited (thanks a help and advices of some members of this community, datahell in first), the same thing for html and css code to be valid and the original component has been modified to be multilingual in many his parts.
If you want something of specific I think that a panoramic image viewing is a great idea like a bot or module for elxis (not for marketplace.) The maximum is a separate component (like expose) to manage only panoramic galleries.
How i understood in your e-mail, I though that your problem, was to do an automatic resize (images and thumb) how is in marketplace. ??? ???
The plug-in you saw, if is a great plug-in, with a big patience it can be completely modified and his php code all rewrited to be used in elxis, but it will be always a not native elxis extension. ;)

That is why they don't sell ;D. Honestly when I saw market place demo it looked so nice that I almost wanted to have a means of rotating the "House in New Caledonia" image 1. It was by instinct. I suddenly thought a potential buyer would want to do that and if he is able to have a panoramic view of a product, the probability of purchase is high. Again, just my view.

You're right, but how many people insert byself their ads with panoramic photos from front-end in a site like e-bay (marketplace)? I think nobody.
If you need propose something of yours personal or of your customers, you can use only elxis, create a page about that house and you need only a bot for viewing panoramic photos in that page and using ios gallery you can have also an image gallery in the same page.
You can use Elxis how you want, because is very flexible. Many components as marketplace and others are not necessaries if you not use them for what has been developed. Marketplace is a good solution only if you want give the possibility to someone (users or visitors of your site) to put his ads by front-end of your site.
Maybe a module like last photo ads but with an image rotator can be a good solution for marketplace :)
