hi, i have a site with elxis & iosr, all latest versions. I need for a different hotel to change my template. Lets say I click on a hotel I need to change to a second template from the default. I have tried some ways but without result. although this task should be simple & easy, for different hotels, i just can't manage. I think that the problem is that I can't separate hotels as different elements ( menus, ...)
can someone help ?thanks !

yes you can... assign hotels to menulinks->templates
make a link to hotel url in a hidden menu.. if you want not be visible and then assign there the hotel-tpl

When you say link to hotel url which url? dynamic(itemID=12?...)? or seo pro enabled (hotel/...) and how can I create this link...
actually I'm not following you. I know a lot of loomla(and now elxis!) but can you please explain with more details. It's very crucial for me to achieve this ..

1st you have to create an item at any menu
2nd you have to go to templates manager and to assign a template to the specific page.

menu manger>>my menu>>new>>link-to-url
copy the hotel-link from your browser as is...
no matter if seo is enabled or not...
problem will appear only is you use a seo link and afterwards disable seo in your elxis-site.
if you use the non-seo url... no problem if seo is enabled or disable now or in future!
use absolute links...
EDIT sorry... relative urls or else won't see the link in the list at tpl-assign page
