how can i make the ucd module to take items from marketplace component ?

You must edit the module UCD.
PHP you know ?

which version of marketplace are you using??

i use all ready with many changes the 1.0
and i focus in mod_ucd.php at those parameters
//Content retrieval settings
//Content retrieval
//select between content, section, category
//Output
//Plugin processing
if its not nessecary to delete those and put the param com_marketplace its better to add one new param
also maybe needed some changes and in administrator modules

I don't understand why you want use ucd module (of joomla??? ) to display items from marketplace.
If you want some modules for marketplace 1.0 I can send them by private message. I don't know if they works right under elxis, but you can try them and check the code, in any case for your security you must rewrite the code.
