Title: mod_bookmarkus xml file and other problems ....
Post by: ks-net on May 28, 2009, 15:23:35
- mod_bookmarkus.xml  .... missing entries for some languages ,,, so they are not uploaded to server

- this format 1 and 2 seems not to work

- english translation .... bookamark page  must be converted to bookmark page

- documentation mentioned many times inside module administration... where it is(write a link in description .. also you can use wiki (http://wiki.elxis.org/wiki/Elxis_Wiki_icon_link))

so simple but nice - usefull and lovely module... thanks! :-*

oppss!!!!!!!!
i've checked it...it seems to me works right  ::)
the document, i've don't find and for this i did some modifies to the code deleting some things, also because to have to much link to insert...boh i don't know! in elxis there's a great section for external links  :)

in any case the must important are the custom images. they must uploaded in the /modules/mod_bookmarkus/images and insertethe only file name in the field image in control panel of the module.

Thanks i'll check it and i'll do an update. I think to make a lot of caos in my directory  :'(

  Xhtml validation?

 1.   Error  Line 167, Column 263: document type does not allow element "link" here

      …sheet" type="text/css" media="all" /><div class='div_bookmark'><img src="http

      ✉

The element named above was found in a context where it is not allowed. This could mean that you have incorrectly nested elements -- such as a "style" element in the "body" section instead of inside "head" -- or two elements that overlap (which is not allowed).

One common cause for this error is the use of XHTML syntax in HTML documents. Due to HTML's rules of implicitly closed elements, this error can create cascading effects. For instance, using XHTML's "self-closing" tags for "meta" and "link" in the "head" section of a HTML document may cause the parser to infer the end of the "head" section and the beginning of the "body" section (where "link" and "meta" are not allowed; hence the reported error).
   2. Error Line 167, Column 392: value of attribute "align" cannot be "absmiddle"; must be one of "top", "middle", "bottom", "left", "right"

      …/bookmark_site.gif" align="absmiddle" alt="" />&nbsp;<script type="text/javas

      ✉

The value of the attribute is defined to be one of a list of possible values but in the document it contained something that is not allowed for that type of attribute. For instance, the “selected” attribute must be either minimized as “selected” or spelled out in full as “selected="selected"”; a value like “selected="true"” is not allowed.
   3. Error Line 167, Column 670: value of attribute "align" cannot be "absmiddle"; must be one of "top", "middle", "bottom", "left", "right"

      …/bookmark_page.gif" align="absmiddle" alt="" />&nbsp;<script type="text/javas

if you install directly, is impossible to install it because in the zip file "mod_bookmarkus1_2.zip" there are two files:

readme.txt (read it before to use the module about the css)
mod_bookmarkus1.2.zip

before unpack the zip file you downloaded and after install mod_bookmarkus1.2.zip  ;)
tell me if is ok  ;)

no ... this is not the right progress... you must make your module compatible  with the default module-installation progress....

if you have to force somebody to reed the readme file you have  other options...

1- add comment to  the description of the XML file
2- add a comment to the EDC description
