Title: PHP support
Post by: newart on December 23, 2007, 11:56:14
I've read this: "Programming Language: PHP 4.3.0 or higher. Compatible with PHP 5.x".

But about 2008 version, did you know that? --> http://gophp5.org/

I think it says good enough the reasons why Elxis is still compatible with PHP 4. Notice that Elxis is compatible with both PHP 4 and PHP 5. So, there is nothing to worry about.

The real revolution is PHP 6.

surely, moreover in the last 2 months I've seen that my usual hosters have upgraded their PHP 4 to version 5. Elxis is compatible in both versions, good but in the same time I've thought that it was an hard work, too.

Moreover my Hosters about MySQL now use version 5, stopping the use of any 4.x.x versions.

I've searched around the net what is the real situation in Italy hostings and what described seems a general behaviour.

My best wishes!!
