Artio's  JoomSef Site is not operational for some reason.

Have you tried OpenSEF? Especially with the Greek Language?

My congratulations for conducting those tests.

After your post I have installed them in one of my Elxis sites (stored in subfolder, www.my_main_elxis_website.com/my_second_elxis_website/).

I have to say that none of these work properly.

The “ARTIO JoomSEF” has the problem that when you click in any internal link it opens the main page of my main Elxis, but on the address bar the url that shows up is correct.

With the “Linx  exchange”, with successful installation, when you try to go to any options of its menu you get an empty page. The only menu that appears is the Elxis menu.

Server specification:
Elxis Version: 2006.3 [ OpenMind ]
Server OS: Linux
PHP Version: 5.0.5
Database driver/type: driver [ mysql ] type [ mysql 4.1.21-standard (4.1.21) ]
Language: greek

If you want I can send you a copy of Artio JoomSef, because I have downloaded it today, before they had   problems with their website.

Please use the English language in this topic (I did the same error in my previous post!)

SOLVED !!!

there must be a greek.php file under "components/language"   ::)

Just take the english.php , translate in greek an save as greek.php then everything works fine.

Every component is a complex application and needs debugging before we can safely say that is compatible with Elxis. For me none component is compatible except those that they are verified by us and we have on elxis.org website. They may work, but maybe there are hidden small pieces of incompatible code that some time can become even dangerous for your site (for example elxis - mambo/joomla access system is totally different). So, be carefull.

Nevertheless, we have to thank all those good people that trouble themselves to test addons if they work with Elxis out of the box!

John is right. Nothing is like it looks like. You have to test and test again!
