				Hi there !

I have upload to my site mp4 videos and I use the HTML5 video plugin to display them.

Using firefox, I get this message:  Your browser does not support HTML5 video!

Is there any way to fix it ?

 Thank you in advance
 Christos

P.s. Chrome is ok ! No error messages on HTML5 video plugin !

Try uploading an additional webm format for firefox. Also be aware of the codec you use in these files.

				What I did is this:

I downloaded a YouTube video in .mp4 format. Then I upload it in the admin zone of my site, and using the elxis button wizard I put it in an article.

 I didn't use any codec...

Generally, no. It will not always work like that.
 Check this: http://camendesign.com/code/video_for_everybody/test.html (http://camendesign.com/code/video_for_everybody/test.html)

Tip: There are many online video converters.
Note: Some codecs like H264 are commercial.

Hello everyone, I use format factory which is free and converts just about all the video formats.
It also provides options for subtitles and is fast. http://www.pcfreetime.com/ (http://www.pcfreetime.com/)
