Title: How to avoid tags?
Post by: rentasite on October 24, 2016, 23:02:15
I have an Article, among others, that will be available for guests (or even for registered users, it doesn't matter) BUT will not appear in any menu item & generally must not appear in any way, on the site.

As the site is using the "Tag Index" plugin and the "Tags cloud" module... the problem is the article's tags. As they betray the existence of this article.

Is there a way to avoid the tag's appearance (on Tag Index and Tags cloud) for this article OR to avoid requiring tags generally for the whole site?

Thanks in advance

As the article is public it may be "discovered" with or without tags. It can be indexed in google, or been found via search, in category list, in feeds, via a sitemap, etc. I am sure there is a better way to do what you want. If you tell us why you need this article, which is its role, then we might propose you a better solution.

Correct! In sitemap also. Maybe the only solution is an individual html file/page in the root of the elxis installation.

I don't know what you want to do, so I can't propose anything.

Hi...

Sorry, why do you post an article but don't want anyone to find it? why don't you save your article offline or save it in a cloud service?

Thanks
