Title: Hide a category from Mobile frontpage
Post by: bledi on December 10, 2014, 19:04:15
Hello Everybody!

I have published categories in my Mobile frontpage.
Is that any way to hide a specific category from the Mobile frontpage? It showes automatically all of them

Thanks

Yes, you can do so in 2 ways.

1. With CSS. To tell you exactly what to do I need to know which extension/method you use you display the categories or the generated HTML code or show me a link to the page.

2. If you use the special "mobile.php" template for mobiles you can set a module to be displayed only on mobile devices or only on desktop PCs. You can display different things to different devices. So you can create a copy of the module (eg the menu module) you want to display with different parameters for mobiles and display this one in mobile template and the other one in the standard PCs template.

For better instructions provide more information.

I am using the "Mobile frontpage Module" mod_mobilefront.
In the parameters i have selected styles: Categories.
I just want to select the categories that i want to show, not showing all of them, or hide the ones i dont want to show.

The module doesn't support that. You must modify the module to do so.
