Title: Author Alias
Post by: seadhna on April 08, 2014, 17:06:57
Hi, it was possible to enter an 'author alias' in the old version of Elxis. This doesn't seem to be possible in the new version?
e.g. how to type in the author of individual blogs?

"Author alias" is deprecated, in Elxis 4.x there are "Created by" (initial author) and "modified by" (the author that last modified the item).

You can create custom content modules and place them in top of category pages with any content you want.

Hi, thanks for your reply. What I want is on the frontend, the human author of the blog to be displayed. I, as a backend user are posting on their behalf. I don't want my name to appear, but their own. But in the new CMS, it seems to only want to display actual CMS users rather than the author on who's behalf the content is being posted by the web designer.

In the next 2-4 days component Mikro will be released with which you can have a blog with front-end posting by any user.
Download and documentation soon.
