Hi,
I am at lost looking for the solutions of the following.
1. Author assignment. I provided user credentials to some of my bloggers/authors. But once, I am (admin) done proof reading their articles, I want those to be reassigned to my name, but there's no option to choose from (like a drop-down menu for the authors name). Is there a way to do this?
2. Variable date. Is there a way that we can choose the date to anything we want, e.g future dates or etc?
3. Scheduling the posting of articles. Is there a way that we can set a particular article to be posted at a later time?
4. Password protected articles. I can't also find this option. Do we have one?
P.S. Thanks to Ioannis for personally allowing me to join this great forum.

The development of Elxis 4.2 will start in about 15 days.
1. Initial author can not be changed. But each time someone modifies an item it is marked the modification date and author. So it depends on where you want to display the create date and author or modification date and author.
2. Why to change the date? You want to trick your site's visitors?
3. We have discussed this is the past. It can be done with a cron job driven script. We will see if we implement something like this in 4.2 so this feature to be built-in.
4. All items have access levels. You don't have to password protect an article, just set the access level of it.

Thanks for the reply datahell.
I'll settle with answers provided on items #1, #3, and #4.
However, on item#2, though I expected that kind of reply. However, my goal is actually related to item #3, it's for future dated articles that I want to be posted. I have other blogs, where I have to schedule the posting of articles within the next two days, to evenly distribute the updates on a daily basis.
Hopefully, item #3 will be part of the built-in feature of 4.2+.
