Title: Plugin weblink 1.0 και download 1.1 - Number of characters to a remote file

To Plugins weblink 1.0 and download 1.1, i can't put full URL to a remote file or link with 200 characters.
There are connections that i use which have up to 250 characters.
How you can overcome this problem by using plugins.

As an alternative option... why don't you use URL shortening technique? A detailed presentation at wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/URL_shortening
