Title: fake urls possible with natilus
Post by: seadhna on January 31, 2013, 12:35:06
Hi there,
not sure if this should be a cause of concern, but I notice with rev4 that the category name is not needed in a url to bring up an article, e.g. if an article called test.html is in a category called 'about' (seo titles) - the url would be www.example.com/about/test.html but the url www.example.com/test.html also works.

The cause for concern would be that a 'fake' url can be used and the page still comes up: e.g. www.example.com/anything-at-all/test.html

so for example, is this open to malice, e.g. a malicous party could share a link and make it look real: www.example.com/this-brand-is-bad/test.html
