Title: Login page?

Hi,
do I need to use the login module? Is it my only option?
Can I use a button that takes the visitor to a login page for them to login? and then show the user menu. I would like to create a button (key icon) that takes the visitor to the loging in page.

Of course you can do it. You can create a link or a button-link to the login page of your site without to use the corresponding module. Example: At Elxis demo site the login page is http://www.elxis-demo.com/login.html
