Title: The Hotel Booking System
Post by: Tank on May 24, 2012, 21:22:41
I was wondering if it's okay to ask questions or talk about the Hotel booking system/module in the Elxis forums?

You mean IOS Reservations? Of course!

Check also the "Components" area: https://forum.elxis.org/index.php?board=11.0  and see if any of your questions have been answered, previously.

Hello rentasite,

My apologies for such a delayed response! Yes, that's what I meant the IOS Reservations. My question is will there be plans to extend the IOS Reservation system to become a listing system?
My apologies also for posting my question in the wrong section of the forum.

I came across this system when searching online. http://www.salephpscripts.com/demonstration
It seems very similar to IOS Reservations but with the added ability to add custom fields to specific listings it can extend from hotel reservations to restaurants sales or realty listings to craigslist type of free trade listing.
I'm just curious if there are any plans to do something similar as it seems like IOS Reservations already have a strong foundation for it.

Thanks!

This is an old fasioned directory script, not a booking engine like IOS Reservations.
IOS Reservations will be re-created for Elxis Nautilus with more features in it.

I see. Will there be or is already existing a similar directory script for Elxis?

Looking forward to the new features. :)
