Title: Error on page after elxis upload [SOLVED]
Post by: ROUBOS on December 31, 2011, 17:19:01
Hi,
I just uploaded the elxis files onto the server, and when I access the site on my browser, instead of the install I get this error:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_OLD_FUNCTION' or `T_FUNCTION' or `T_VAR' or `'}'' in /home/httpd/vhosts/kalymna-yachting.gr/httpdocs/includes/floodblocker.class.php on line 43

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: floodblocker in /home/httpd/vhosts/kalymna-yachting.gr/httpdocs/includes/Core/security.php on line 104

Any thoughts?
Thanks, and Happy New Year to all.

Did you make a change to your template and forget to close a bracket { } ???

No, no template installed. I get the error before I even install elxis. I upload all the files to the server so I can go through the install process, and I get the error.

Yes you're right. Such a stupid mistake. The owner was sure that all was ok and it wasn't. Have to move to a newer server with the latest versions.

Thanks
