Title: Automatic translation error "Quota Exceeded"
Post by: vmanuel on November 04, 2011, 23:09:57
Hello,
We have this error when we try to translate any content "Quota Exceeded.  Please see http://code.google.com/apis/language/translate/overview.html".
How can we set up the translations to our account? Google is charging for this service now, but we don't have any alternatives or do we?
Urgent please.
Thank you
Vitor

Hello vmanuel,

It looks like its time to open a new browser and use this.  http://translate.google.com/ (http://translate.google.com/) unless you want to pay for it.

Important: Google Translate API v2 is now available as a paid service. The courtesy limit for existing Translate API v2 projects created prior to August 24, 2011 will be reduced to zero on December 1, 2011. In addition, the number of requests your application can make per day will be limited. Google Translate API v1 will be shut off completely on the same date (December 1, 2011); it was officially deprecated on May 26, 2011. These changes are being made due to the substantial economic burden caused by extensive abuse. For website translations, we encourage you to use the Google Website Translator gadget.

Google will stop provide the free translation services via its API from December 1, 2011.
You should visit http://translate.google.com/ to translate your text.
