Title: eforum how to post a message to READ ONLY board?

Hello,

can anyone help me how to post a message to read only board? I understand that the board is set to be read only but, there must be some user who posts messages for the others, right?

If I remember correctly the administrator and the board moderators can post messages even if the board is read only.

thanks for the respond, but either I'm doind something wrong or it really doesn't work.

I tried to change my role even from admin to moderator but the function "new topic" is not shown with read only boards

Then read only topic are read only for all...
You can make the topic writable, post your message, and turn it back to read only.
