Title: Primezilla, impossible to install
Post by: Luca on February 27, 2011, 20:42:57
New Elxis 2009.2 installation with Marketplace.
Server= Centos 5.5 x86_64 and Virtualmin; FastCGId as owner

The Primezilla installation get stuck with a message like:

Code: [Select]
Failed to create directory "/home/domain/public_html/components/com_primezilla/js/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/css"
Maybe a folder permission issue upon creation, but I tried to set "Directory Creation" CHMOD default to 777 in the Global Configuration>Server tab with no results.

Anyway, manually chmodding the folders the installer says that com_primezilla folder is already used by another component - so it is a no go.

I searched G and Forum but found nothing.

Maybe a manual installation? Please how to?

Any clue?

Thank in advance.

Luca

I don't know if this component is still maintained. Better contact the component developer (elxisitalia.com).

Hey Datahell! Thank You.

After trying to work around this problem, I've found that switching off the use of the FTP Elxis lets me to install the Component.
 ???
I searched the Forum but it seems that I didn't found anything with workaround...

Maybe a fault on my server side (FTP user permissions...)

Bye,

Luca
