Help Server?

Do you mean Ticketing? F.A.Q? Live Chat?
All this you can setup for a help "server".

Help server is nothing more than a normal site with a small particularity. Contact eliasan for more information, he knows very good this issue.

Sirigos, we speak about an Elxis help server.

Hi all,

Creating a Help server for Elxis is a rather simple proccess.
First you need a normal Elxis installation.
Some of the content items will be the help pages that your help server will serve.
In other words, your site may have content that is not directly related to help server pages.

In order to "transform", a content item to a help page you have to supply a special parameter called "Key Reference". Each help page content item, must have a unique Key Reference. This is the reference a user's Elxis seeks to find on a help server in order to display the right help page.

From where can you get this Key References? Simple. Look at the /help directory. There you will find all the help topics in a form of html files. Each file is named after the topic's key reference.

For example, the bolded text is the Key Reference for this help topic: elxis.contactmanager.edit.html

You fill this key using field "Key Reference" found on parameters tab of a content item (last field).

I hope this was useful.
